Safarnama
Safarnama, which means "Travelogue" in Urdu, is perhaps an accurate name as we take you around the world with our stories.
A project for everyone, we welcome storytellers from across the globe to share their tales with us, particularly those from South and Central Asia, the Middle East, Africa, South America, and Indigenous Communities from North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Folkloristan x Beaconhouse
School System
An initiative designed to reconnect children with local folklore while fostering real-world connections through the power of storytelling. This activity captured the spirit of Pakistan's folktales through the eyes of children!
This collaboration is more than a project; it’s a celebration of heritage, storytelling, and the timeless magic of shared human experiences. Bringing them to life in new ways for audiences far and wide.
Clicks and Culture
Students from grades 3 to 5 set out on a delightful mission to uncover stories from their grandparents, parents, and elder family members. Each story they collected became a bridge, connecting generations and weaving a stronger sense of family and community. Students learned not only to record oral heritage but also to contribute to a digital repository that will preserve these stories for the world to discover.
BSS teachers have provided us with a treasure trove of folktales - an extraordinary database brimming with narratives steeped in culture and history, which we shall transcribe and translate to bring to your screen!
